My characters, the northern shaman Meredith and her wolf friend, traveling somewhere on the borders with Kleikir, the land of the dark dahateri.
I realized that I really like to draw abstract and extraterrestrial landscapes, it's quite interesting and soothing. I'm actually very happy with how the mushroom turned out! There are also some of my favorite elements that I really like to use: silhouettes of travelers, stone monuments, and scraps of fabrics/ribbons/banners on them.
I drew the characters from memory, so after finishing the work, I realized that I had missed some of the design elements of the woofielion that I liked more. From last year, there is a picture where the same characters are depicted for testing my own paints. Here I mainly used van Gogh "Petersburg" set and plant based paints from a craftswoman from Ukraine, shpakcolors You can see red madder on the mushroom, this is one of my favorite pigments.
