A cat can't help but to pounce and hug and squeeze. Maybe even a lil' nibble...
I think I am happy to say that I have reached a place in my art journey where I can confidently draw or paint the subject. I think what has changed is how much I have understood about art and all the practice I have done. I like to believe that the only way to gain confidence is to practice and actually understand what you are learning. It feels liberating knowing just enough so that I can switch between styles and subjects with allot more ease. It is very different than being scared of not being able to paint something correctly and being clueless as to how.
Anyway! This piece was rushed by the end so there are mistakes and aspects to improve in the painting that I could not fix for the time limit. Limit being my boyfriend's and I monthly anniversary :3 Rendering put me really close to not having the piece ready by the 3rd, but I got it!
