Gnogres are the offspring of a Gnoll and an Ogre.
Typically these unfortunate beasts are the product of rape, as Ogres tend to be pretty nasty and even a gnoll wouldn't engage in coitus with something as filthy as an Ogre.
Gnogres are generally hated by Ogres and Gnolls alike. they're smaller than Ogres, leading them to outcast them for being weak and useless, and Gnolls hate them because they're big and even dumber than them, typically either exhiling them to he long walk, or using them for slave labor.
Gnogres are huge, standing almost 9 feet tall, and powerful creatures. Their bodies are a combination of the best and worst traits of a Gnoll and an Ogre. They stink something fierce because their hygiene leaves much to be desired. They're stupid because a creature born of two unintelligent creature typically breeds something less so. Their main gift lies in their strength and their unnatural cunning.
Gnogres may be slow mentally but they're surprisingly quick for a beast so big - and they seem to have inherited the pure animal instinct of their gnoll parent.
Gnogres are often outcast from either parent society, making them a truly pitiful creature to an adventurer with compassion towards the monsterous, and they'll willingly join with any group that will take them, because the gnoll in them prevents them from being a fully solitary creature.
