It’s the final month of 2025. Before 2025 rides off into the sunset, we’ve got episodes of Scratchpad to fill in the month of December. Not a bad way to make something worthy of the year’s finale, eh?

On Tuesday, December 9th, we begin our playthrough of one of the first two Pokemon games of the franchise, Pokemon Red or Blue (We’ll be choosing just one or the other). We’ll work on earning the Boulder and Cascade Badges throughout this playthrough. Later Badges will be the goal in future episodes of Scratchpad in later months into 2026.

Two days after that, on Thursday, December 11th, is our Sonic-themed Double Feature with Sonic Rumble and Sonic Mania.

Our Pacman-themed Double Feature is on Tuesday, December 16th, with Pacman Championship Edition and Pacman Championship Edition DX.

Keeping our December warm from Thursday the 18th to Saturday the 20th (but not too hot, I hope) will be Spyro the Dragon in his sequel game.

To get into the Christmas spirit, on Christmas Eve, we’ve got Nights Into Dreams. We’ll be playing both the Original and X-mas editions as our gift to you!

Finally, on Sunday the 28th and Tuesday the 30th, our final two streams of 2025 will feature the Genesis/Mega Drive classic, Beyond Oasis. Both episodes will have openers, making them Double Features, with Golden Axe on the 28th and Gameboy’s Yoshi on the 30th.
