However, before Jolk could execute said plan, he needed to wait at least a while as a precaution. So, he remained as still as he possibly could, just to sell the illusion he's more 'settled' in those caustic depths. In the meantime, he pondered what exactly had eaten him. Could it have been a snake? No... he hadn't met anything big enough to eat him at his normal size, and he only saw a brief flash of red and black before he saw nothing but darkness. That already gets rid of a lot of possible suspects. He digged through his memories, tryign to recall if he was told anything about any such creatures... and only one popped up. One of his friends, Raethalis, had been talking about a red and black worm that occasionally traveled through dense jungles called a Wormonger, and typically ate anything it ran into whole. So he was eaten by a worm... that absolutely didn't hurt his already damaged pride as a king of the skies. A snake or literally anything else would have hurt less. With a deep sigh, he waited... feeling the stomach sludge and animal bones press against his golden scales. The only thing that kept him some form of company besides the past prey of the Wormonger was the organic orchestra of GlrrRrRrNnnNs and ChrrRRnNNglllls.
Eventually after what felt like forever, he decided to enact his plan. 'I think it's sleeping, now is my chance!' Curious on the amount of room that he has, he pushed as far as he could without disturbing his predator... which wasn't much at all. The flesh was slightly squishy and barely wanted to stretch further.. so the golden rathalos was probably the most it could handle. 'It's gut is spacious enough for some wiggle room...' Using the very slight amount of room within the stomach of the worm he had, he slowly began to trudge and crawl towards the jaws of the beast. 'I will NOT be worm food!! If I crawl a little bit at a time, it shouldn't wake up.' He moved only some inches every few minutes, making sure his movements were as barely perceived as possible. Thanks to being trapped for what was probably an hour or so, his eyes had adjusted enough to see the grim remains of the worm's food. The acidic chyme around him sizzled and churned, trying its best to melt his hide to no avail. Seems as though his scales are much too tough to melt away, which is both good and bad for him. He theoretically has all the time in the world to escape, at least until the worm realizes and possibly decides to try and deal with him in other ways, or maybe release him anyways. However, he'd rather not leave his hands in the life of a wild beast... as anyone would probably agree with.
Something that
akaikosh had made for me a while back, at least a month and a half ago I think. My appreciation for worm preds was only reaffirmed with this comic.~
Wowie, the second page of the comic!! Seems like Jolk's entire plan is to slowly but surely crawl his way out as to not alert the Wormonger. Perhaps this might work.~ Also, remember, this is the Classic Wormonger version.

The lack of room makes it much too difficult to do much of anything. If he has barely enough room to even wiggle, he barely has room to open his own jaws.
Besides, his teeth and claws are NOT razor sharp, so he can't really cut with them with that little room.
Edit: In addition, it'd be nasty if he tried to chew himself out. He's not in danger as indicated in the artwork, so no real reason.
