But you're leaning into your medium (tablet and software) which makes things look like doodles... if you changed your style so it was pointillist, the same picture would be much more passable as a greek mosaic.

Oh I'm not looking for mimesis, more like synthesis of the elements. - Like what would that mosaic look like if it was done with the digital medium?
One thing I do love about mosaics is the optical blending. Really prominent in Byzantine ones. Though I haven't seen that mosaic before, I'll have my hand at interpreting it! Thank you!
