I've been really hammering out my worldbuilding project lately. I don't really post anything here unless it's particularly polished, so here's the tumblr blurb to go along with this:

"Ve posing next to his new horse Kir Kir, who belongs to a hardy little breed local to Akkrazare accustomed to the tempermental thornscrub.

Ve himself is dressed up to be presentable, to mixed effect. He recently acquired enough tekenin (silver, weighted currency) to purchase finer quality cloth from southern Akkrazare, but doesn't have the eye for outfitting himself in a way that someone more accustomed to Having Things would. He might also be slightly colorblind but that's neither here nor there. The mismatched decorations– the tunic significantly more "northern" in style than the skirt– is piecemeal and tacky. But, to Ve, it beats his well-worn field gear, and he feels a little fancier for it."
