I figured it out, the sudden sluggishness, the visual distortion, could only mean that there's a quadruple combined knockout gas spreading throughout the building(to which, a mad scientist has concocted together..., in theory), & these are the most possible ingredients in creating the quadruple combined knockout gas:

carbon monoxide + laughing gas + LSD + Ketamine = 30% of the dosage

or

carbon monoxide + laughing gas + Psilocybin + DXM = 30% of the dosage

Now, for what I researched, each one has a similar, but different side effect. However, they both have one major common factor, their Transformation Triggers, which could be bad. So, in a way, this could most likely be a trap, if my theoretical hunch is correct.

Sorry, correction, I meant "40% of the dosage" for these two possible quadruple combined knockout gas for a werewolf, to which the side effects may include the following:

Reduced Danger: Faster metabolism + resilience lowers risk of death/seizures at this dose.

Sensory Dominance: Visuals blend with smell/sound (e.g., a rabbit looks wavy, smells like glitter, sounds like a kazoo).

Instinctual Filter: The werewolf's predatory focus might "anchor" it, preventing total ego dissolution.

Physical Manifestation: Pupils may glow; fur might appear to ripple independently.

So besides the transformations being one of side effects as well, I think that pretty much covers everything, but only if my theoretical hunch is correct, that is.
