Straight-up bronze. It starts out shiny like a new penny, and relatively quickly oxidizes to a classic matte color with slight hints of green. The photo shows a brand-new one I just made, along with one that's about 6 months old. It can be polished back up with a standard brass cleaner.
I've had these scales lying around for a while. But I've been wearing the older bracelet to work for the last week, and my boss asked to buy one from me. I'm also glad to finally have a good shot to show what the bronze scales look like both new and after some time.
Anyway, just like all my other scale bracelets of this size (namely, 3 scales wide), one of these would be $25. You can see it on my Etsy store here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/7979001.....bracelet-thick
