Miroslav Fairfield and Zarya Osborn - commonly known by their middle names "Tyrone" and "Arlene" respectively, are among Planet Vasti's oldest yet most youthful foxes, and are second in command to Edgar Wolfe, in regard to political power over Planet Vasti. They are very welcoming and hospitable to every person they meet, and are very happy to lend a hand to even the least financially fortunate. They are also as playful as schoolchildren (in a very safe-for-work way), whether inside their castle's walls or on their farm. Tyrone and Arlene speak English very fluently, and in a good way, their mannerisms and speech patterns might give you the impression that they're from either Slovakia or the Czech Republic.

Tyrone and Arlene are very passionate about flight; they have revolutionized the aerospace industry in the 1930s with their backpack-mounted, jet-assisted personal wings. Both Tyrone and Arlene were orphaned at birth, and were mothered by Vastina until they were old enough to be married. As their teenage years progressed, their love for each other grew ever stronger, and they were married in 1935, at which time both Tyrone and Arlene were 21. Creating a portmanteau from their surnames, they founded the Fairborn Kingdom shortly after their wedding, and began construction for their castle in late 1935. Construction was completed in the summer of 1936. In 1938, they fought the war alongside Derrick Elyran and his friends against Dark King Bellum; Tyrone, Arlene, and their friends won. Starting in 1939, they added making alcoholic beverages and farming to their portfolio, officially opening the highly-praised and long-awaited Fairfield and Osborn Farm on April 11, 1940, in the middle of Foxglove Valley. Other than their many varieties of wine, their signature alcoholic beverage is slivovitz, a Slavic plum brandy usually produced in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.

In 1944, Tyrone and Arlene adopted Jon Fairborn and his three identical brothers, and they adopted Ellen Fairborn (then known as Elena Vasquez) in 1946. They arranged the marriage of Jon and Ellen in 1976, and in 1977, became the grandparents of Kathryn Fairborn and her younger sister Elisabeth "Elly" Fairborn. During the summer of 1987, The Vastian Summer of Love, Tyrone and Arlene revealed that they are pansexual, a revelation that made them nervous but was nonetheless welcomed by everyone. Through the marriage of Kathryn, Zevarius Elyran-Kerensky has been Tyrone and Arlene's grandson in law since October 23, 2010, and through the marriage of Elly, Rin Elyran has been their grandson-in-law since February 14, 2010.
