Well start this sequence off with cute human feet to Gatomon's paws transformation. Meri lifts one of her foot to show off the underside of it to show the growth of the pawpads. She always had pawpads on her previous versions of Gatomon forms, even though most depictions of the Digimon is always one singular one, but I've always preferred the versions that has paw pads on her toes as well. I think what I like the most that Arito did in this page is that the paw pad "grew realistically" at first before growing into the center cartoon like paw pads that the Gatomon species always have.
You might think that these large pads might be making some noise on flat and smooth surfaces, but that is not the case for Meri here. Her paw pads are based off of an idea that these pads are the reasons why cats don't make any noise when walking unless they have their claws out.
So her steps will be silent as they come no matter where she walks and despite actually having claws, on her feet, her large cute toes immediately engulfed them in their spheres making them shetheable and can be brought if she wants to. But I prefer them to stay sheathed until she wants them out in her normal Gatomon for and I more or less like the idea that the claws are out in the Black Gatomon version of her form anyway.
Although they're bigger than the human feet now, they will shrink down when she shrinks down to a proper Shortstack Size. I hope this particular page is popular with all paw lovers of this kind of foot transformation.
