Some of the requests made by mortals who come to the laboratory are sometimes strange. Nevertheless, with enough work and research, it is possible to fulfil their intentions, especially if they are in line with the needs of the Manor or research already underway.
In this case, this human came at just the right time for the various technologies amassed by the Librarian of Netsethk, who was frustrated at not being able to connect certain devices due to a lack of suitable transformers.
After some research and an intervention by the Librarian of Netsethk, it became clear that the word ‘transformer’ was not to be taken literally, but was a reference to a collection of graphic, literary and video game works from what humans call ‘pop culture’.

That would indeed be an excellent idea. Or to provide a clear and precise illustration and description of their fantasy, which could prove to be quite radical for their future.

If the subject specifically requests to be a shapeshifter, this can be done. This was in fact underway for the specimen on this page (failed experiment, mature content), although an error in the process drastically changed the result.

However, this would not prevent communication errors from occurring. Nor would it prevent a somewhat devious entity from using the slightest detail to overturn a situation that had been carefully planned in advance by the person making the request.
