Absolutely adore this piece; the posing is heavily inspired by Chinese mythic murals. Always really happy with this artist's work. This is my other favorite Warcraft daddy Shenmaru! He is/was a legendary sage of Pandaria, the guardian of the Wandering Isle. He is a powerful frostfire mage with great skill in alchemy, brewing, and entomology. He has been trying to find a way to disrupt the Mantid's pheromone controls for centuries in order to end their attacks on the great wall. Unfortunately he was cut down in Azjol-Nerub while studying with some Nerubian friends during Arthas' brutal genocide of Northrend. Raised as a death knight and later freed, he still pursues his goals alongside his deadly arcane moths and perpetual caterpillar-wurm Morpho.
