Meanwhile I'm instantly drawn to a character who, unless they're just being a smartass at the moment, is a direct, physical rejection of Plasma's public Poke-PETA stance... that seems to be backing it anyways. Even if there can be some potential side effects, e.g. Audrey being a bit lopsided, it's not like hybrids can't function in human society, and are fully capable battlers as Pokemon. The only reason they wouldn't live out in the wild is purely due to personal preference and simple pragmatism.

...Of course thinking on it she probably is being sarcastic, I mean that's probably the equivalent of just casually dropping a "Hail Hydra" post Black and White era....

She'll... eventually reject Plasma's stance... Once she breaks through that brainwashing of theirs :3

Huh, so is it just conditioning from them basically being a cult, actual mind control, or something to do with her sister? Because if she's willing to jump to straight up hyper beaming somebody if they mess with her sister, methinks they'd be good "motivation" to keep around.

Speaking of her sister, any details about her, like if she's a hybrid or something?

That'd be my main bean Leah, the Sylveon Hybrid! Essentially Leah left on a Pokemon Journey at the age of 10, despite her parents not wanting her to. 10 years of various gym challenges (Think like Ash, even winning a championship too!) Then she got infected by a Sylveon, and that's where I started building her up!

Now according to Fez/Ya0iNeko's lore, Plasma in their setting is somehow able to remove pokemon features from hybrids. And that got me thinking, what if they were using those removed features to make their own hybrid soldiers, and that's where Leah's parents come in! The reason they didn't want her to go on that journey, is because they were studying her dna, and had plans to take her fully in and experiment on her. Thankfully Leah had a lot of other friends and family that fought for her to be able to go on the journey, and would have noticed if she had suddenly disappeared.

So her parents had another child, but this time they kept her in the lab full time, because child super soldiers is a fun concept to work with, lol! Anyways, her new sister Aria, gets rescued out of the Plasma lab 10 ish years later by another experiment. The whole incident giving her some acute amnesia, so she's struggling with that memory loss and years of indoctrination and such.

Through some other events, Aria finds herself in Lumious City during the events of ZA. With the Rouge Mega Evolutions happening, she goes berserk and mega evolves. A chance encounter, and Leah and some friends of her's stop the rampage. It won't be a while til the two actually know that they are related, as that's what I'm actively working on XD

Huh, a Lati would be an excellent pick for a legendary hybrid if you're going to intentionally make them, because they are not that rare so you can get samples, not so powerful that you risking breaking reality if they go rogue, and can pass as normal with some illusions, without having to deal with the hangups that Mew DNA might bring.

Bonus points for mega evolution capabilities and if you're willing to sink to Cypher levels of evil, well... Worse case scenario you can always try making a Soul Dew out of any... Failures.
