• Biography: Celine is one of the many ½ Mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being born a day before Pelagia was born, making her part of the 1st line of ½ Mermaids born to the family. Like many of her siblings, Celine always hung around when her father had stories to tell, and he had no shortage of them either. One story inspired Celine to be an adventurer like her father is. Celine found that she was prominent with staves that heal, and so she opted to follow the path of the Cleric. She proved to be a most proficient healer indeed, for her healing prowess was well documented by her parents. One day however, her training with magic saw her attacked by a heretic, who attempted to make an example of Celine in how the “holy protect no one,” only to be quickly thwarted by Celine when she suddenly hit the heretic with a Divine spell, knocking him out cold instantly. It became apparent that Celine had not just become a talented Cleric, but she was instead recognized as a Saint, the female equivalent of Bishops. Surprised by the revelation, but nevertheless taking it to heart, Celine was eager enough to take the title without hesitation. She was at that point declared powerful enough to join her father in his travels, and she even tagged along with her other Fire Emblem themed sisters (Sans Eurydice, who was unable to go initially due to her Pegasus being sick), settling on the land of Gaia and quickly became one of the elite soldiers in the Gaia Army. She, along with Theodosia, Abenahir, Larinia, Charybdis, Sakiko, and Misaki, they became collectively known as the Oifey Seven, given how they were all 2nd tier classes, and were the strongest fighters in the army. However, the great Gaia Castle came under attack one day, being invaded by the Supreme Forces, the invasion being led by the Supreme Archduke & Supreme Archduchess, and commandeered by the 3 Supreme Princesses, and the Supreme Prince. Celine helped in fighting off the invaders, but the amount of Blackblood Spawn emerging, along with N’Raqi backing them up, the army; save for Celine & her family, were eventually wiped out, and Celine was forced to retreat with her family & friends. With the army destroyed, and the castle taken over, Celine fell into despair, but it was short lived when her father, Julie, and Shantae proposed forming the Gaia Alliance to replace the now destroyed army. Celine was quick to sign up, wanting to help take Gaia back from the Supreme Forces. She has since been fighting the War of Light & Shadow, and even after the war, Celine is prepared to fight when necessary. As is to be expected from those in Juni’s family, Celine is a very friendly woman, inheriting only the best traits from both parents. She is tied with Aquarius, Pearl, Scylla, and Brigantia to name a few as being one of the sweetest members of the Socrates family. However, Celine does tend to get flustered easily on certain topics. She absolutely adores animals, and at home, she owns a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Apple, and a red pointed Birman named Angel. However, she does not show any sort of kindness to Heretics. The best undead killer.
• Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Celine is capable of transforming into her mermaid form the moment she enters the water. As a mermaid, like all her other 1/2 mermaid siblings, she has excellent swimming speed, can breathe underwater without the need to surface for air; though she & her other sisters form gills to help with this, too, and she can commune with aquatic creatures of any kind. However, she primarily transforms while in either fresh or seawater. And like her mother & siblings, Celine strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming. In the water, Celine enjoys the same +10 increase to her avoid/dodge, and the doubling of movement that her other 1/2 mermaid siblings enjoy while beneath the waves. Celine starts the party off as a Saint, the female equivalent of Bishops. She makes up part of a magic triad between herself, Theodosia, and Charybdis. While Charybdis tanks damage, and Theodosia dishes the big magic pain, Celine is essentially the middle of the triad, being balanced out in all her stats, especially in terms of Magic, Resistance, Defense, Skill, Luck, and Speed. This is even reflected in her good growth rates in these areas. Her Strength is rather decent, but it’s still her lowest stat. As a Saint, Celine uses Light Magic as her main means of offense. Light Magic enables her to have a magic trinity advantage over users of Dark Magic but is at a disadvantage against those who harness Anima Magic. However, her main shtick is healing allies via staves and she actually starts with a B-Rank in staves, granting her access to a great deal of potent healing staves right away. In addition, she also has a B-Rank in Light Magic as well, which enables her access to some of the most potent holy spells imaginable already. In addition, Celine has a very beautiful singing voice to the point where it is so pure, those with evil in their hearts enter sheer agony. Even fell dragons are not safe from her songs’ purity. Promotion wise, she can use a Grandmaster Crown to promote into a Cardinal, or an Archsaint. Celine begins with the following magic, staves, and skills.
o Recover: A staff imbued with healing magic. Fully restores an adjacent ally’s HP. Holds 15 charges.
o Restore: A staff that removes status effects on an ally. Holds 10 charges.
o Physic: A staff imbued with healing magic. Can recover an ally's HP at a distance. Holds 10 charges.
o Divine: High-Level Light Magic.
o Aura: Powerful magic that smothers enemies in light.
o Holy Muse: The personal skill of Celine. This uses 7MP and 14SP to activate. When activated, Celine will start singing a song so holy, light bathes the entire battlefield for 4 phases. While the light shines, enemies associated with fell power will be more susceptible to breaking and stay broken for 3 attacks. Monsters, undead, and demons steadily lose HP while the song is going on and they even become more susceptible to critical hits. This includes the Blackblood Spawn themselves.
o Miracle: Avoids foe's attack when the unit would be defeated.
o Healtouch: When unit heals an ally with a staff, restores +5 HP to target.
o Slayer: Enables bonus damage to monster units from all attacks.
o Seraphim: Intermediate light attack magic. Effective against monsters, undead, and demons. Stacks with Slayer. Uses 4 MP
