In a time and place where people are fearful and hateful towards pokemon, Leah has to be very careful about hiding her Sylveon features. Though her biggest problem with it are her own pokemon. With many of them being quite affectionate towards their trainer, it easily triggers her shifting into a full Sylveon. Thankfully her Sneasler is trained to scoop her up and set her in their carry basket as those first signs of shifting show. Not that Leah minds it, she just wishes she didn't have to hide it at all...
