Leah and some of her friends were taking a road trip out to Kalos. Some going for work, some for the ZA tournament. At a rest stop, Leah disappears from the others. When they catch up to her, they find that she has befriended a wild pokemon in the few minutes she was gone! And yes, she nicknamed the shiny Gligar "Smoothie", lol!
