Super impressive work here! Can tell you've studied a lot of references, even down to the water; the slight variation in color throughout the SF Bay where the water types collide is one of my favorite details of Golden Gate pictures, and I think you've captured that really well in this. ^^

The story behind this is that Xodiac and I holidayed in SF in August.
While doing all the normal tourist things we of course went to the Golden Gate Bridge.
The Welcome Center sells old sections of the bridge, I bought a piece of the cable to give to my mum.
Xodiac joked that he hoped the pieces they sold were not important, and that lead to this image being made.
