Death watches your memories when you die and writes them into a small book if your life seemed interesting. This is how Death has assembled a small library of other lives, which it rereads in its spare time. And when you inevitably meet Death, you may not vanish without a trace, having left your mark in the book's lines.

A few facts about Death:

Death never shows its face. Even on a bright, sunny day, its face remains shrouded in a dark, misty haze, preventing any features from being seen. It is unclear if it even has one, or if it exists as an abstract concept of darkness that people see when they die, and it is unlikely anyone will ever know.

Perhaps the true dragons originated from Death, adopting its love for collecting things and gold, which Death sometimes adorns itself with. However, in Death's case, it is not a love for material things; Death simply does not want to be in constant, silent loneliness, and the clinking of chains slightly alleviates that solitude.

Once, someone tried to cheat Death by rewinding their lifetime. For a long time, Death hunted the soul that refused to die at its appointed hour. When the restless soul tried to break the laws of creation, opposing not only Death but the entire world, Death finally caught the soul that had grown too arrogant. Now its spirit and body are trapped within Death's scythe, and its body continues to be flooded with bitter tears, screaming in agony for its deeds.

Its wings are second hands, which Death can use to grab something or someone. It can still fly, even though only bare bones remain of its wings.
