This is amazing, I mean the shading is superb, it's dark but you can still see the details. And Komodo Dragons are the shit, great to see more art of them!

haha well gasmask are not as high as bandannas and ski masks, an fairly good thrid though ;)

yeah i suppose youre right, for me, ski masks are on top, followed by a close tie of bandannas and gasmasks

Nice work! Good job setting the background-- the greasy, industrial location fits the subject well.

ah thanks mate, this guy just took a life of it's own when I started working on him, I just couldn't stop adding more and more details to the shading =P
but yea that background is actually a screenshot I filter effected and painted ontop again to fit the characters style, it feels abit cheap to do so but the results are good though

I'm a fan of soldier outfits and gas masks, they look so haunting! Especially on anthro creatures like this! Reptiles definitely need more positive attention in the art world.

I like how these two red-colored spots pop out, the glasses and the lamp on the wall. The color tones on the whole picture I like, actually. This green-ish grey mix, with the aggressive red parts. You did a great job on the shading as well, it makes the scene dramatic, which is fitting.

The Komodo's pose turned out great too! You can tell there's something dangerous going on. Perhaps a stealth mission. It's like an illustration of an exciting story. Or comicbook.

ah thanks man, yea this is pretty much my price jewel of my "one character drawings" sicne I havn't managed to replicate the same amount of detail later on.
But yea I did undersell this one as usual, then again the guy had to wait over half a year to get the final draft of the drawing! =P So this is why I don't do commissions anylonger as I feel there is so much pressure that it HAS to look great that I end up spending twice as much time trying to get started allways thinking it's not good enough. but still thanks a bunch!
