Windbag Willy had always wanted to try out a world-famous “Cloudbuster” balloon.
One he finally saved up to get his paws on one, he readied his lungs for some big, puffy fun. He started huffing and puffing, but the balloon started pushing back! Willy was confused, as he has never met an inflatable he couldn’t easily blow up. The red bag of rubber squeezed all the air back into his body and rounded him out into a big, fluffy orb. Willy normally didn’t mind being inflated himself (he quite enjoyed it actually), but now it was personal. He mustered all the air he previously exhaled and blow it right back into the balloon, using his nose to pump more air into the inflatable toy than before. But alas, the pressure fought back again, sucking itself back into his respiratory tract again, making him the size of a zeppelin and breaking the fourth wall! It was there that Willy decided this was the last straw. He wasn’t going to take no for an answer from a mere red latex sack. He was going to blow this thing up to the size of the moon if it took him all day! He started to gather some of the air in his cheeks, which were also bulging and taut, and blew the remaining air with all his might, more than he had ever blown out since puppyhood. Willy’s cheeks served as backup power in case the colossal cloudbuster fought back again, and this time, it didn’t. The balloon grew bigger and bigger, the size of a house, than a whole yard, while Willy deflated smaller and smaller back to normal size once again. The red, growing mass of rubber became the size of the whole neighborhood, squeaking, creaking and groaning until the air pressure inside finally gave out and the whole thing popped.

*KA-BOOOOOOOOM!!!!*

The explosion blew all over the city, shattering windows and uprooting trees. Luckily nobody was in town that day. And right in the middle of it all sat Willy, surprisingly exhausted from this whole balloony ordeal. As scraps of broken latex floated down all over and onto his face, Willy grumbled something about his pride having been burst by this blowup behemoth…
