Faye Wyld is a vixen on the run. She was driven to hide in West Finster by a pack of wolves who basically want her dead. A sultry, scintillating figure, Faye Wyld, was able to seduce her way into being a pet fox under an exotic pet license. But at some point she became an outdoor pet, touching base every few days.

She lives in West Finster park in a stand of trees quite a distance off the beaten paths, during the Spring and Summer, living in her keeper's home during Fall and winter.

Although Wolves will not venture into human towns and cities, Faye would rather not take chances on a wolfish night raid. To that end, she is trying to organize the cats and dogs of West Finster under her direction. But the more she tries the more it is obvious that she won't succeed and the more it is really unnecessary.

While she is a cunning mastermind, she is a thief, regularly swiping picnic lunches at the park. She is also an impressive teacher of animal survival technique, transforming Tammy into Terrible Tammy, a feral cat who will fight to kill at the drop of a hat if Faye let her. She also has a burly buff raccoon, Buster, in her employ as well.

Faye's appearance might be overdone, but is meant to convey the idea that she is a kept vixen with a very good human home. She also tends to lead with a loving demeanor, but can be very manipulative very easily. Most will not realize they are being led around by her until it is too late or until long after they either are let go or manage to unknowingly slip free. The strange affectation of her good-natured appearance is that she always has a butterfly with her, often perched on her ear if she remains still long enough, other wise it's always flying near her.

Faye Wyld has very close ties to the wild animals living throughout West Finster. They keep her appraised of the general situation and makes her seem to be all-knowing. None of the regular cat or dogs can touch her in a fight, yet she almost never goes out of her way to win a fight either. Living by her wits before her fists, Faye could become the boss of the animals in West Finster, if such a posting was actually possible.
