Tails Doll and Chao Sculpture
A sweet and spooky set of Sculpey polymer clay figures!
On the left, we have the infamous Tails Doll from Sonic R. I aimed to give him that worn, stitched-together look:
Body and head sculpted from polymer clay.
Limbs are articulated and strung together using thread.
He has small seed bead eyes for that empty, button-eyed stare.
The final touch is a simple wire loop holding a small resin gem on his head, just like the original character.
Beside him is a happy little Chao companion! This figure was sculpted entirely from clay and then selectively painted with acrylics to achieve those bright, segmented colors—a perfect contrast to the Tails Doll.
This pair makes for a great desk buddy set. I really enjoy bringing these characters to life in a tangible way!
