you should use either a different shade of purple or a different color, i never really liked blue and purple together, blue goes better with yellow, white, red, violet, green, orange or other blues. purple kinda looks wierd to me, but either then that i like the design very much, and the browns look great

I think he is my favorite Elfane yet. ;~; The black tail with markings is a very neat idea, actually. I assumed you were taking the black away entirely, but it looks amazing this way.

I feel this direct need to pet his ears. >3>

Psst... Use the airbrush with a combination of brushstroke with the marker setting, and feather brush in fur.

Here's a great resource for inspiration http://www.colourlovers.com/ you can also make an account and make your own pallets to play with.

Also when dealing with a color wheel, always remember that the color the exact opposite from the one you picked is it's complementary color.
