The European tree frog (Hyla arborea) is known for its characteristic nocturnal call and the dark lateral stripe accentuating its eyes. Arboreal, it inhabits environments rich in vegetation and prefers the outskirts of marshes and ponds. As a protected species, it is strictly forbidden to handle or trade this little frog.

Aragonite is the dimorph (a mineral with the same chemical composition) of calcite. Extremely rare, it is found only in small quantities due to its purity. Transparent to translucent, sometimes with a pearly sheen, it is generally white but can display a range of hues from pale yellow to bluish-green. It is considered an ornamental stone. In France, it can be found in the Gard and in the Aude, at the heart of the Salsigne Mine.
