I was trying to do a relitively simple line drawing as a work up to a colored piece and I ended up with this. I kind of started out backward when I began drawing again last year. I junped right into detailed color pics before I re-learned how to sketch and draw with graphite. I use to do alot of graphite work in the mid 70's but when I tried to do this, it seemed totally alien to me and things were comming back to me very slowly. I am going to try the line drawing again tonight.
This is a scene from a short story I wrote early last year and I am just now getting around to finalizeing it . I plan on having 8 illustrations with the story.
This pic ic 8 x 12 but the full color pencil pic will be one third larger so I can do some realy nice detail work which I enjoy. Hope to start the color pic at the end of the month, I have another project to take care of first.
I tried to make her with a more feral type body as she now goes more on 4 legs now than two and 2two are definately accuard for her.
This my first try at this body type and any suggestions would be appreciated.
