A doodle I made of Apis, a sacred bull from Ancient Egyptian religion. Apis bulls were thought to be earthly manifestations of ancient Egyptian deities like Ptah and Osiris. Egyptian priests would seek them out by searching for calves with very specific markings. Once selected, an Apis bull would be taken to a temple and worshiped. He would live a life of luxury and people would seek religious guidance from him. This was a tradition spanning from the First Dynasty to Byzantine Egypt.
As you can probably guess, I kind of caught the Egyptomania bug.
Edit: The facial symmetry was bugging me a little bit, so I made some fixes.
