This is Zero Hour.
He is a zeraora which in Pokémon unity lore (that's the name of our main canon) means he is an alien. In his culture, there's no such thing as gender but for our sake, We're going to refer to them as male.

In Zeraora Culture, the last name is translated corresponds to a Unit of measurement (usually of time). And the first names, translated, are typically Numbers or Letters.

The reason why measurements and numbers? Because those are the closest things that can actually translate their actual names.
Anyways how does this tie by back to zero

Zero is the youngest of his family. He has 12 siblings. And well. He wasn't planned. He was the child his parents didn't expect. Apart for when he is born, he was born with a coat of white fur which in their belief is the color of the fur of a Zeraora that is meant to bring prosperity and endless fortune to their civilization.

Problem. The belief stats that the zeraora's fur is white but its skin is green and instead of blue its electricity is yellow.
They were specifically talking about a Shiny Zeraora and not what Zero is.
An albino.

Zero back home is seen as this bad luck anti-christ like figure. And soon after, another Zeraora, an actual shiny this time, named Zetta, would actually show up and be showered with praise and love and adoration, whilst Zero had to beat the expectations of being the cause of the death of their civilization that was put on him.

Zero always tries his best, he is usually carefree and to his friends (one of which is a xurxitree named Jules). They know him as a pretty cool dude but all his peers and those older than him see him as nothing but trouble.

One day Zero ran off trying to help his older sibling Three by subbing in for them on the weekly "hunt".

The group Three was with wasnt thrilled to see Zero. Bullying, mocking him relentlessly through the entire trip to the place they were going to go "hunt".... well as much hunting a tree can be typically just strike it once and they are down.... but not this time

A giant xurxitree had caught them by surprise.

Zero had created an opening for them so they could all escape and just when they think they are leaving, Zero gets caught.

The group looked back and then just fled back without even attempting to save Zero.

The xurxitree hurts Zero pretty bad but the moment he had to escape, he took it and fled to a cave.

Zero doesnt remember much of what happened then, just remembers rushing towards a cave and laying to rest and then when he woke up... he is no longer hope, trapped in a world unfamiliar to him in a cave, in the Alola Region. With no way to tell his family he is ok, and alive.

But he is bitter. Ever so bitter. Doesn't help this world has none of the food he'd eat so he has to default to the one thing do have to eat, Electricity. And just turns out the people of this world make it in droves in large cities.

So thats basically how he ends up in Alola and how at the beginning of that arc he'd be extremely stand offish and hostile to any friendly gesture done to him by those in Alola.
Poor boy is optimistic but keeps people at a arm's length
