Well what do you know, I've drawn something new! This lovely lass is Chrisann and she's an iguana who belongs to CalebMagness. I've really loved her design since I first saw her years ago, so I was very glad to get a chance to draw her despite my limited skills. I wound up depicting her as an anthro here, though she normally has a more feral-type form. It was quite a valuable learning experience, I found out many things:
-I have no idea how to draw feet and I'm glad her hands are out of sight.
-I'm grateful I got the iPad pro so I can have like a million layers in a disorganized mess after I keep going back to redo sections.
-Related to the point above: I should actually get the character proportioned and positioned how I want before I start doing the final lines and color.
-Drawing all her scales and markings was very time consuming but satisfying and I quite like how they turned out.
This is what practice is all about though and ultimately I'm pretty happy with the finished result. I'd like to draw her again in the future, next time in her proper form after my abilities improve. Huge thanks to CalebMagness for letting me draw his character! :)
