I say 1980s. Its possible this could be 1970s. I'm not entirely sure. Kind of like a modified A-frame with a flat top. There are almost no windows on the front, just on the sides. Would love to see the interior of this one. I bet it has a pretty unusual layout. This one is only about 1 block from the beach.

keeps the cold from the wind down and the extra surface of shingles retains heat better. early colonial New England homes were built with long roofs shingled like that facing the sunlight off the back, usually with outdoor storage underneath, for that very reason. doesn't matter how high tech the branded trash-solutions get, the best answer is to build for it.
it turns out the generic prefab modular box is not anywhere near as useful a design for what its supposed to do as the "strange" ones. almost like there's good reason it looks "strange"! go figure! honestly, i find the addiction to conformity that others have to be far more strange and certainly less conducive to healthy social connection.
