Personality
To most people, Neluji comes across as an exceptionally elegant butler, but something not too deep underneath the surface feels unnerving enough to make the hairs on the nape of your neck stand on end. Neluji is quick and concise with his work, always acutely aware of all that goes on in the house, and serves as a beloved yet slightly intimidating mentor to the other servants. He knows exactly how off-putting his aura is, and how to control it to his advantage with guests who visit his master. When he trusts that you will pose no threat, he will feel warm and charming, but otherwise, he is like a wolf just out of view. To friends, Neluji is calm and patient, and they don't often notice anything awry. On his own, he enjoys the peace and quiet of the Heartalone manor garden and good book with tea, or a session of painting in the late afternoon.

Backstory
Neluji once was known by a different name; Naruko. He was born in Sirusiron to Emperor Tazuko Iodin, and was hailed as the newborn heir to the throne as his first child. His mother was carefully selected by Tazu to produce an heir who could rival his own power, but be able to leave their home unlike himself to secure freedom for his father. However, when Naruko reached his teenage years, he became aware of the whole truth behind his father's plans for him from one of the generals and began scheming an escape from his fate. In a battle against a wave of divine warriors that descended upon Sirusiron, Naruko intentionally let an archangel impale him through the chest high enough in the sky that even the neighboring nation of Haos could witness the event, falling to the earth never to be seen again, and sending Lord Tazuko into pure hopeless despair.

Naruko wandered the world as a mercenary for hire for several centuries before being scouted by the former head of the Heartalone manor, Deveraux. He had learned much in his travels, taught himself the art of harnessing magic as a mage, and became a fighter with quite a reputation. This caught Deveraux's attention. When the nobleman first approached this mysterious nameless merc about it, all Nauko could do was laugh. Despite his initial amusement, through the man's persistence, Deveraux managed to convince him to join him on the Heartalone staff as the personal butler of his unborn child. Mistress Cerise gifted him the name Neluji; A new identity, a new peaceful life, and a new chance to belong. To this day, even after the attack that took the noble couple's lives, Neluji stays by the new Heartalone family head's side, a loyal and ever hard working butler of the Rose Garden.
