Tikal wasn't just a priestess. Her
relationship with I'l was much more than
a "deity/servant" one. They talked to
each other as friends, they really loved
each other's company.

When her father fractured the Master Emerald
he deceitfully told her it was for the good of I'l.
She believed him and told I'l to live in one of
the Emeralds to keep him closer to her, not
knowing her father's real intentions.
