The skull of a Tsuno-sen or Oni isn't that different from a human, save a few features:
First off, the forehead is twice as thick in an Oni than it is in humans. This would suggest head injury is quite common in Oni society...mating rituals do tend to be rather violent...
Second, Oni and Tsuno-Sen have massive canines. In the case of Tsuno-sen, the bottom row houses the fangs. Both Oni and Tsuno-sen have an overbite, so when a Tsuno closes its jaw, its fangs are relatively concealed, unlike Oni, who always have their fangs sticking out.
The horns of the two are made of lines of keratin, the same substance found in hair and nails. Unusually, there are nerves and blood vessels lining the interior, several inches underneath. This means that it is possible to actually "tickle" an Oni by stimulating the nerves on the horns. Why there is feeling in these accessories, I have yet to figure out. Perhaps the pain prevents Oni children from doing harm to developing horns?
