From Page #65, it's a (human) children's bed from Ivenmoth. "We brought up a children's bed for the sca... For the new officer, and some other basic furnishings." Not sure why human kids have beds with raised edges, maybe it's to make it easier to place the mattress/bedding.
Entirely possible that in the 250+ pages, at some point offscreen it got replaced with something a bit more species-appropriate, perhaps even custom-made.
Page 65 definitely feels more like, "We need to get this new officer some furnishings, and we need them by tonight. What's available? Oh look, a kiddie bed, looks just the right size, AND it's loads cheaper than a full size bed!"

probably helps keep the dirt out of your futon by preventing the blanket from falling over the edge and sweeping across the floor... I should actually look into something like this, it's not as big an issue if you have carpeting but with wood floors the dirt is like "a textile surface? yes please! *all dirt jumps from the floor into the bed*"
It does. This particular bed is for (human) children, brought up from Ivenmoth storage, as mentioned from Page #65. But Val has said (I think on Discord, maybe /trash/) that yinglets often sleep in large cuddle-piles, with sleepers coming in and leaving over time. Yinglets are able to half-wake enough that they can determine whether the disturbance is a "Get up and move, zhere's danger!" thing or "Don't mind me, I'm just getting up to use za bazhroom" thing, and go back to sleep with minimal disruption of their rest in the latter case.

Has Kass ever woken up half-asleep or still delirious from a clam-bender, realized only their head and tail is present outside the blanket, and mistaken themselves for a snake/noodle?
Their arms and legs are really raising the blanket up, so I immediately thought they looked a little snaky, ha ha.

a lot of boys only see a boob in weird moments like this, so even when they grow up it's still the like, emotionally evocative scenario that makes them recall feeling excitement from their childhood curiosity. Vs. just being topless, without the implication that they shouldn't be seeing it, does nothing for them cause then they're just boobs
I live outside space and time, so I set a familiar cartoon to run before every sleep cycle, and it gives me tangible feedback instead of confusing numbers. I usually wake up around the same episode, so anything after that gives me the extra-fresh "oh hey this is new" feeling to get me excited for the new wake cycle. If I hear something from season 1, it's like "you haven't woken up yet, go back to sleep."
Hiya, OOPs readers! I'm here to remind you once again that there's a place called "Top Web Comics" https://www.topwebcomics.com/?home=3 that compiles comics from various places. There's a bunch of cool stuff there. They have monthly votes, so you can support OOPs there. You can vote once a day per device, so your PC, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.
I've noticed that you can sometimes even get in extra votes from different IP addresses, or if you're disconnected from your IP and open up again later.
It closed out last month at 904 votes and 33rd place. It's currently at 435 votes and 43rd place. The highest it's reached is 24th place, and the top vote getters seem to end up with something over 20,000+ votes, at least recently.
Vote early, vote often! Help OOPs get noticed!
