Maverick Dawson is here again, guys. After I posted the story about him, I remembered that I hadn't shown this guy initially. Well, here he is, a master of the sword, a cool beastman... and very lonely. Yes, he found a friend in Kira, but it's still not enough for him. Here Maverick is shown by me with his favorite sword, ready for tough fights.

Yeah I see what you meant with his description earlier, about the fur on his body being darker in some areas. Especially his shoulders, and lighter around his belly. I floated the theory that it could be due to his huge, bulging muscular body that affects the coloring of his fur by pushing the hair outwards and making it less dense, but it was just speculation on my part.
His sword looks very shiny, made out of platinum maybe? Beautiful gold plating on it too. Is he wearing something on his back? I can just make out some object to the left, almost looks hints of a shield or something. Maybe it's part of his clothing somehow?
I like the flame highlights you have on his pants, very cool, goes well with the overall chromatic design choice with the rest of his body. This dude is hot!

Wow, did you notice the sword sheath on his back? Well done, very well done. Maverick always carries his sword in a case like that to avoid any trouble. And besides, he is ALWAYS ready for a sword fight, and not only sword fights. And imagine what will be happened if he will be fight with Rag'halek or K'horrr or even King Raoh'kral
Indeed, I was always wondering about Ra'ghalek's comment that only another dragon could harm a dragon in the My Mate universe. I immediately started to think how this could even be possible. Suppose Farin took a sword and stabbed Ra'ghalek in the eye. Surely there must be exceptions.
Too bad we don't see any other anthro species in the My Mate universe. I wonder if there are Anthro bears or such? Could be a rival to the dragons, even though it's already stated that Dragons are the strongest species on that planet.
But once you get weapons involved, I think the natural advantage might get challenged. Although, Elder Aldus lost his fight pretty easily with a spear when Ra'ghalek had nothing but his hands and fists.
