You stop to catch a breath and look down on the way you’ve come so far. From the height of the mountain ranges, the world below seems to fade into insignificance. Your paws ache, your muscles are sore, but despite these obstacles you still press onward, so close to your goal. “Are the stories true?”, “what really happened to the ones your heart chose, after they ventured to the crystal cave?”, “were they really taken by the dragon?”. These questions and an unstoppable will to find out the truth pushed you over your limits so many times during this exhausting journey. It’s high time they did it one last time, as you’re taking the final steps before reaching the answers you sought.
You don’t look back again as you stand before the entrance. Determined to confront the supposed beast yourself, you venture in with your trusted dagger and a torch. The cave’s darkness quickly envelops you, testing your bravery and challenging you to continue. “Stories are never told by those who came back. They can’t be true” – you thought before wandering in deeper. It wasn’t long before you saw the glimmering, purple light, illuminating the cave. A beautiful spectacle of nature’s beauty.
It wasn’t long as you realise you got distracted, as a flush of wind blows your torch out, leaving you alone between the shimmering crystals – or so you thought. As your heartbeat quickens, you frantically look around to find your way, only to be interrupted by a terrifying roar and a mighty, growling voice resonating through the cave. “What an adorable and sweet, little thing you are! Are you a visitor or a new offering to the Obsidian Dragon?~”.
You turn your head around as your legs start to tremble and see the beast in its full glory, bathed in the cavern’s light. The giant, regal predator, laying down, amused by how you froze, completely lost in your emotions. His towering, muscular shape, his wide-spread wings, his sharp claws, his massive paws and his hard, radiant, obsidian scales already give you most of the answers you looked for.
“I-I came to see if the stories were true” – you mumble. The dragon grins as he eyes you like his next, innocent and defenceless prey before a deep, resonant rumble rolls through the cavern, laughing at your attempted bravery. “I doubt you will be able to share yours with anyone” the dragon murmurs, “you see, stories are never told by those who came back…” - he says, before the light reflected by his magnificent scales blinds your eyes.

Looking absolutely stunning like more shiny than any gold and absolutely bright like the sun that too form of his mane and fur
Definitely no trinkets can be compared to such beauty and nobody ever need to leave his presence - he is already more than any mortal can ask for
When any king would offer to faze upon something this amazind and wonderful?
Incredible piece from Thal yet again! She draws your handsome guy like nobody does. So elegant, powerful yet beautiful and incredibly memorable
