Felicia walked up behind me as I stood on the scale, looking down over the numbers. She hugged me from behind and looked over the shoulder. "Hon, I know you like being fat and I like that you're soft, but I think it's time you lost some of the extra weight."

I let out a long sigh. "I know Felicia, I know." Dumb blood pressure.

She leaned in and whispered into my ear. "If you get to 250 before your birthday, I'll let you try that spell I've been teasing about."

That made me perk up, it was the same carrot she had used the last couple of years to get me to lose weight, but it never worked. This time it might be be enough.

"Deal," I said with a smile.

(When I got this picture I did weight 265, and hopefully this will be the first a few pictures covering my attempts at weight loss. We'll see if I hit 250 by the big day)
