MTP'd: Being maxed out on rupees on a Zelda randomizer, but having nothing to spend them on, so any additional Rupees you find go to waste.
Coined after my Windwaker randomizer playthrough as MTP, or Micro-Transaction Pandemos. A jerk of an indulgence god who has to pay money to use his powers. I maxed out my rupees within 15 minutes, and never found the sword after hours of play. Similar happened with my Twilight Princess Randomizer.
Commissioned by Tangent128, who wanted to see him dealing with the opposite problem.

May I ask what you mean by poverty seed? Is that a specific type of randomizer that gives you less money/items? Or just a bad rng seed?
I'll admit, I'm still relatively new to Zelda, and randomizers. I've never actually beat any of the vanilla games (I played part of TP 15 years ago, but didn't beat it. And WW, this randomizer is my first play through)

Ah! Hope you're having fun. I haven't tried any randomizers outside of Zelda 1 and ALTTP.
Poverty seeds are ones where you end up with very little money. In Z1R, you find "secrets" in caves that can be small (1-20 rupees), medium (25-40 rupees), or large (50-150 rupees). There are also "door repairs" tha can take up to 25 rupees. Enemies only drop 1 or 5 rupees when they do drop money, and you can get extremely unlucky with drops, so those secrets are usually very needed to progress if you end up forced to buy a blue candle or arrows.
Even worse, your rupees *are* your arrows in Zelda 1, so you spend 1 rupee per shot, eating into your wallet even more. You have to have at least 1 shot with the silver arrows to beat Ganon, so if you find him while being flat broke, you have to either use Up+A to reset to the beginning of the dungeon, or leave his room if you're able. It can be frustrating to be in those seeds, but they're at least beatable.

Thank you for the explanation! I haven't played either of those two, but alttp is on my list.
Also, the arrow thing is rather amusing. Since MTP has to spend money to use his powers, we joked about him spending rupees to throw his sword... The fact that there's already a mechanic like that in one of the game is just perfect.

What's funny, is that this kind of goes into a little thing I asked my friend about.
Like how anime isekai protagonists have OP abilities, but I state there's always a downside. For me, I chose *luck* and this is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about. "I'm so lucky I always get the .000001% item!"
"God damn it I needed the 95% drop rate ORE. AAAAAAHHH" and somesuch silliness like that.
