All those loops, all those deaths must weigh heavy on Peri's mind. Everytime they got destroyed it was of Peri's inaction, a missed shot, not taking a shot or even hesitating reduced them to space debris, only to come back around with full memory of her mistakes', failing to protect her friends and that she was the reason for their deaths that run. Such a thought must weigh heavy on her and cause her to lose a lot of sleep, and even getting angry with herself for such a stupid mistake and also mourning her friends who are sitting right next to her. Such a thing can break eve the strongest resolve.
