Canvas had of course given Birch the best birthday gift she could imagine. A cake of honey and sugary sweetness in one, that not only grew him, but herself as well. It was a fun day for his birthday, one the two of them celebrated for most of the day. Although, Canvas had felt an unusual tiredness wash over her. And she could tell, Birch was also unusually tired. Still, sleeping while using mountains as a pillow was satisfying. The two snuggled up together and fell asleep in each other's arms. However, by the time they woke up, Canvas could tell immediately that she was not the size she fell asleep at. In fact, everyone from the party seemed a lot smaller, as they were roughly around the same size.
“What happened?” Canvas asked Phoenix and Crystal, who'd been with them when the shrinking happened, and possibly the two were awake.
“Beeeeg Canvas!” Birch said, walking over to Canvas. Birch was in fact smaller than her, but to say she was big was not accurate.
“Birch, honey, you do realize we've shrunk right?” She asked, but Birch seemed to not care.
“How did this even happen?” Crystal, being the first to ask, just tried looking around, trying to wrap their head around how this could have taken place. After all, not too long ago Canvas and Birch towered over cities, and now they could hardly contend with a mouse in size.
“You don't think someone else could have spiked the cake, do you?” Canvas asked, having realized she had never kept track of the cake after making it, she simply put it back in her cooler until it was ready for the big day, so it's entirely reasonable someone could have added their own mixture into the cake. It was all just a matter of finding out who did it.
Part three of Na-Nowhere To Hide is done, and I’m quite happy with this one! Though one thing to note with Crystal, I plan on slightly updating her design in the future, to more closely match the way Breezy drew her, since I thought she looked amazing in their style!
