A few of you probably know that 2025 hasn't been my best year so far, as I mentioned in one of my recent journals.
But it wasn't just tough for me, it was also hard for
and
. We all ended up caught in a strange situation because we trusted the wrong people, who... to put it mildly, didn't do us any good in the long run.
Things looked pretty grim around mid-2025, but true friends - the kind who don't just help you through tough times, but help fix them - are rare to find. Not because some friends aren't willing to help, but because they simply can't.
I won't delve too deeply into the details here, but it was both mentally and physically exhausting. Thankfully, things are finally starting to improve, and I'm hoping life will return to something more normal by the end of this year and into the next.
All I can really say is: I'm deeply grateful for everyone I talked to that time. Be it about the topic sharing some details or just casual chatting overall - but especially for
, who eventually took things into his own hands and made the right calls to finally end this mess that had been haunting and nearly breaking us for most of the year.
And with the hardest part now overcome, he sent us this as a gift for our birthday week in September. But it's not just a birthday gift. It's a blessing. Since it somewhat marks the end of this weird situation.
