I don't know as I'd call it "changing," so much as "relaxing."
Jinjur does have many abilities and qualities that make her a very effective warrior. She has been frustrated in her ambitions over the years, and so has turned to plotting to overthrow a system she sees as corrupt and ineffectual.
But now that Kathy has saved her life, and given her a job that she can sink her teeth into, she is realizing that her talents are useful and appreciated and thus is allowing Kathy to see a different side of her.
My goal is to not "change" Jinjur at all, just to give her a new direction to go in. She will still be just as snarky, arrogant, and hot-tempered as before. Only now she has a commander she can respect.
