You think the Universe you live in is the only one out there? You're wrong. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried really. It is in fact one of many alternate dimensions of reality that exist inside the bubble of time. Any number of alternate events you can think of? They are all represented in these Universes. An infinite mass of reality is all around you existing at the same time. Most Universes remain unaware of their counterparts. Some however have discovered the knowledge of the Alternates.
One such Universe (Identified as the Pistrix - sea-monster) reality is profiled here. One of its inhabitants - Mary-Rose - is shown as a Shark. While her Alpha counterpart is a Hippo, this Mary-Rose is very unique indeed. Her main qualities remain in the fact that she is of the same body-shape, hunger and mentality of her Alpha. The changes in Mary-Rose are cosmetic at best. She has brown skin, growing lighter at the tips of her fingers, feet and belly. A long, dangerous looking tail. Fins located on her head and along her back while a set lay on her forearm as well.
While the Alpha Mary-Rose considers herself the most dangerous female around, she has yet to run into her Pistrix counterpart.
Wibbly-Wobbly-Timey-Wimey... stuff.
So I guess I'm a little late for Shark Week guys... Fat Bunny Week too. It would have been great to get a picture of Mary-Rose as a fat bunny though. She's such a great character, really one of my most cherished creations. Just don't tell her she's a creation, she'll rip me a new one I suspect. More than any of my other characters, Mary-Rose has been transformed the most. I don't know why that is.
As usual I hope my little mini-story up there isn't too long-winded/overcomplicated/egotistic.
I have a few really good ideas in mind for my usual Hippo-gal. I ought to get them fleshed out a little more over the next few days. Until then...
