The Baikonur Class it's born to be the sucessor of the mighty Excelsior class AIV it does well it's job even if it's smaller than the Excelsior but it's size is also an advantage this ship infact is able to get in and out of the atmosphere with an extreeme ease... a thing that Excelsior class where not able to do... the Baikonur Class vessels are armed with 6 Medium Positronic beam turrets, 2 Heavy Positronic beam turrets, 3 Heavy 3-barrels fusion Main guns, 14 VLS tubes, 4 front firing ports for Heavy torpedoes of Fuson MBF beams and of course an hangar capable to carry inside a expeditionary Assault force all of this... in 525 meters
