This is the second animal I put onto a picnic bench while camping. this one is supposed to be a stellars jay. For this one I used a knothole in the wood for the eye, so it was naturally darker; I just had to add a little more dark and light to accent it.

Dang! I meant to reply to this but I must've nuked everything before I got the chance to remember. ;;
The dark spots by it's feet, the back of the tail and behind the wing were already there when I started; probably grease, dirt, or maybe someone tried to burn the bench, I dunno. xD
The darker shades under it's body and over it's back were added by me, it's charcoal. n_n It sort of makes the picture pop out I think.
