Fiddling around with the ideas of mythics, rather than trying to kill people, intergrate into society instead. My headfairies had a field day.

I chose a gorgon for a dinermom because no matter how ugly they are, you just can't seem to really hate them. Anti-stonegaze glasses included!

Shouldn't the glasses be closer to the door, or even outside? Seems to me like one would have to stumble in blind or backwards or something to get to the counter where they're stored. Unless, perhaps, if the internal walls were mirrors...

This IS pretty cool, though.

Never gave it much thought but look at it this way, the ones behind the counter were worn before and are hung there for later cleaning / already cleaned and drip-drying.

Have you read "The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break" by Stephen Sherrill? He takes this same idea (except IIRC Medusa is working at the DMV). I mean, these guys were IMMORTAL. What are they doing now? Turns out the Minotaur is running a corn dog stand in Georgia. Strooth.
