Sketchdump designing Mulch
Mulch was gonna be a bluejay dragon for a hot second
but it was too many lines
too many scales, too many hair spikes and glasses and ughhh I just needed a simpler design
but the cold lizard vibe was sad to abandon
but mulch isn't actually that cold, just kinda misunderstood
so porcupine hybrid seemed just as fitting

I always love seeing your character design process! Bluejay dragon's a cool combination, but beaver is such a good choice. No fuss, just quietly getting the work done when no one's around
EDIT: Porcupine beaver! An extra helping of "be quiet and let me cook." Now I'm picturing the four-legged version swimming across a lake and looking awesome.
