Moving right along, the Kirlia form is where Kage began focusing a lot more on his martial prowess.

Despite his psychic prowess, he would be going towards the path of a gallade. As such, his training started to involve a pair of gauntlets that lets him fight with elbow blades akin to the ones he'll have when he evolves. This way, he can safely train edge alignment, and get feel for what it is like to have blades out of his elbows. As can be seen on the bamboo, he is already getting the hang of it.

On a more artistic choice note: I also chose to put his hair up in a bun rather than let it hang free and wild. This is in contrast to Ashra's kirlia state where she just let it it flow free. This is meant to be a more visual cue of how her brother is more collected and put together than her.
