That, and she apparently defended Danny Masterson, an actor who is a convicted rapist.

I didn't know that. Oh well.

I mean, she was born into a high-level Scientology family. That's not an easy cult to publicly cut ties with. How involved she is, nobody really knows, but she's not exactly spreading the word through Linkin Park, either, so at least there is that. Maybe she can't officially leave the church safely.

As for Masterson, well... He's a Scientologist, too, so there's that. She has publicly cut ties with him. Where did she defend him?

It's been a whole, weird saga.

When I heard there was a new album I hesitated because I was scared...

I was scared it wouldn't measure up, I was scared that it would. I was scared it'd be different...

But when I heard the album... I cried. It felt like the old days of Linkin Park, but it also felt new. It felt like Linkin Park had just come out with a new album and Chester was still there with us, and maybe it felt like everything was going to be okay after all.

Everything will be okay. And we will have good music.

Tbh to you, every feminist I've ever encountered in my life was either deep misandrist or TERF.
So my bias prevents me from truly experiencing the topic.

TBH feminists are like furries. Most of us don't tell you upfront, and it's not a big deal. Those who are loud about it are more likely to be the ones riding the coattails of a real movement without understanding it, using it as a way to legitimize an obsession, because it gives them an outlet for their frustrations.

Misandry and anti-trans rhetoric has no place in feminism. It goes against what the movement is about. Hate doesn't win equality nor does it win people over.
