A new character acting as a student/surrogate son for Shinji, while also having something of a friendly rivalry with Kotaro.

A young man resembling a shisa (a lion-dog also known as a "komainu"), he doesn't remember much about where he came from before Shinji brought him in. Learning from the shinobi master, he is learning the ways of the ninja well, but with his natural speed and strength, aims to use it to become a "hero of justice", modelling himself after popular TV hero, Kamen Rider.

He comes into conflict with Kotaro, as his Sensei came into conflict with Kentaro, though his rivalry with Kotaro is one based more on respect, and they are on friendlier terms.
